Made it!

We kicked off the Refugees week, with a gruling walk from Sunderland Minster at 10 am to North Sheilds Reporting Center.

Despite the heat we made it in good time, and had a warm welcome at Christ Church in North Sheilds.

Of course we are doing this for a good cause, fundraising to support local and national groups who are helping Refugees and Asylum Seekers to be involved in our society and helping us to create awareness of issues they face.
